Republic Finance is looking for a Treasury Operations Specialist to join our growing Treasury Team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays organized, and is solutions-oriented. The successful candidate should have experience in banking and/or consumer finance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions with autonomy.
As a Treasury Operations Specialist, you will manage bank accounts, handle cash positioning, analyze fees, conduct account research, prevent fraud, process wire and ACH transactions, support the Republic Finance branch network, manage databases, maintain bank relationships, and participate in monthly closing activities, among other responsibilities.

This is a key role with significant responsibilities. Job duties include:
- Execute daily cash concentration activities
- Maintain target account balances and promptly resolve shortfalls
- Reconcile daily bank accounts
- Initiate and approve ACH and wire transfers
- Prepare monthly reports and statements
- Administer the remote deposit application
- Perform database management
- Handle complex treasury transactions and resolve errors
- Identify and resolve suspected fraud attempts
- Track and resolve positive pay exceptions
- Prepare month-end cash accounting reports
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet departmental objectives
- Complete ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
Requirements
- College degree preferred (but not required), ideally in Finance, Business Management, or a related program
- Experience in commercial lending, consumer finance, treasury operations, or a related field preferred
- Solutions-oriented with a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SharePoint is a plus)
- Experience with various online banking platforms preferred
- Must pass pre-employment assessment tests, drug screening, background check, and credit check
- Hybrid work schedule available, with positions in our Plano or Baton Rouge offices
